The Retail enterprise best reflecting the attributes championed by DMSRetail, especially the face-to-face human touch of real retail is MYDIN, a retail chain of Hypermarkets, Supermarkets and Convenience stores, initiated by a family of passionate retailers in Malaysia.
One memorable experience at their flagship USJ outlet is worth broadcasting to the world. It’s 3 o’clock in the afternoon. The cashiers and merchandisers have been on their feet since 10 am. Tired though they must have been,
they were vigilant and alert BOTH in serving the demanding needs of the customer (me) and also safeguarding the interests of their employers, with total impartiality and absolute commitment to thier tasks.
The details are lengthy, and I hope there will be another time to share. Suffice to say, as long as there are people like DMSRetail to Teach and people like Mydin to Do i.e. make it happen, then Retail customers of the World can enjoy BLISSFUL shopping.
